2010 Theme and T-Shirt
This year’s theme is Eyes on the Prize: Racing to Serve. It comes from 1 Corinthians 9:24, “Do you not know that in a race the runners all compete, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win it.”

Ashley Bowes won this year’s t-shirt design contest. As a youth, Ashley volunteered at ASP with Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale, PA. She served on summer staff from 2000 to 2002. Ashley joined ASP full-time after graduating from Boston University and worked for three years as a Field Coordinator for Kentucky.
Since leaving ASP, Ashley has relocated to Minneapolis, MN where she works as a career advisor and administrator at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. She will complete her MA in Leadership in Student Affairs at St. Thomas this May. Ashley has remained involved with ASP; she has volunteered with a group of staff alumni and led a workshop for a group of Virginia Tech students volunteering in Jonesville after their school tragedy.
Ashley designed the t-shirt using Wordle (wordle.net), which she began working with in order to design invitations and stationary for her upcoming wedding to Adam Johnson, another ASP staff alum.
