It doesn't matter if you can spare a week or a weekend -- Appalachia Service Project will give you the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the world. Not to mention in your life.

Whether you volunteer with your church group, college group, or corporate group, we'll help you create an experience that's just right for you. You will stay in a climate-controlled ASP center with bunk beds and hearty meals. And since you'll arrive in spring, winter or fall (summers are reserved for high school youth groups), you'll be able to enjoy cooler temperatures and stunning scenery.

But this is no trip to the spa. You'll lay shingles, replace linoleum, build handicapped ramps. If you have construction experience, you'll be matched with jobs that suit your skills. Even if you have no building experience, our staff will show you the ropes -- helping you develop skills you didn't even know you had.

But ASP is more than a building program -- it's a relationship ministry. You will spend a lot of time interacting with the Appalachian family you are helping. And you'll find your group developing closer bonds and creating a sense of family.
