Here are the simple steps to register and get ready:

Sign Up: Apply to Volunteer

Volunteer applications are posted on ASP's website in early September. Just download, fill it out, and drop it in the mail. Once we receive your application, we'll contact you.

Please note: ASP schedules groups as applications are received and on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications received by November 1 will receive highest priority in scheduling. Applications received after this date will continue to be scheduled until all weeks are filled. Call the Volunteer Department at (423) 854-4405 for availability.

Get Ready: Plan and Prepare for Your Trip

The rewards of an ASP trip start long before your group arrives in Appalachia. The preparation itself can be one of the highlights of your program year – a fun, motivational, real bonding experience for your group that will rally your whole church around the cause.

We provide tons of resources to help you plan your trip, learn about Appalachian history and culture, conduct effective fundraisers, and apply your ASP experience to the rest of your life.

That's all there is to it -- from there it's a matter of showing up ready to raise roofs, fix foundations, and change lives.
