Story Archives > The Front Porch Newsletter > Highlights

"The Front Porch" is ASP's bi-monthly newsletter dedicated to informing donors, volunteers, and past summer staffers of what is going on in the ministry.

You will find stories highlighting families served, volunteers, and staff, as well as listings of gifts made in honor or memory of loved ones and immediate needs of the organization.  "Highlight" stories are only briefly covered in our newsletter, but are expanded upon here.

School got off to a great start this fall at Lotts Creek Community School in Knott County, Kentucky thanks to some caring children, Pockets magazine, and some generous ASP volunteers. Click here to find out more about:

When the John Edwards campaign invited ASP to the senator's recent health roundtable in Wise County, Virginia, many wondered why we were there. Senior Director of Programs Michael Clark lost no time in pulling our chair up to the table.
