This is ASP’s sixth summer serving Rutherford County, ASP’s first year in this specific facility. ASP first started a relationship with the Rutherford Housing Partnership because of their “Women Roofers” group (See People article here!) who were interested in the way ASP does rolled roofing on mobile homes. ASP now works very closely with RHP to choose projects and manage them through to completion; which ultimately results in a better experience for families!

Center Information
Sleeping Quarters: Air conditioned facility. There is a gymnasium that will be split in half for male and female sleeping arrangements.
Cafeteria/Kitchens: There is a large school cafeteria right across from the gymnasium with plenty of seating for all volunteers. All food is prepared and served by summer cooks.
Showers: There are three showers per gender in the school locker rooms, with hot water. Lots of changing and locker space for personal belongings.
Recreation Space: There is an “auxiliary” gymnasium right next to the large gymnasium that will have rec space! Additionally, there is the cafeteria, and an area when you walk in the school called “the commons” with benches and an open area for socializing. There is also plenty of outdoor green space.
Closest Medical Facility: Rutherford Regional Medical Center (22 minutes away)
