Disaster Recovery & Rebuild in Appalachia

The scenes on the ground are heartbreaking. Nine counties in ASP’s service area this summer were affected by historic flooding. Five of our centers had to be evacuated.

Those who had the least to lose have lost everything. More than 37 people have died and hundreds more are still unaccounted for. Entire homes have been washed off their foundations. Roads and bridges are damaged or nonexistent.

This once in a lifetime flooding has turned the lives of so many into complete chaos.

As we prepare for the long-term recovery and rebuild efforts ahead in Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee, we are so thankful for friends and donors like you!

Your generous gift to support our Disaster Recovery & Rebuild Fund will be such a blessing to the families who lost their homes completely or have severe damage. It’s going to take months and years to recover, along with thousands of volunteers and extensive financial resources to help these communities rebuild.

Your gift TODAY will be an answer to the prayers and pleas of help from so many precious families affected by this horrific flood. Long after this disaster falls off the radar of the national news, your generosity will ensure that ASP can continue to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of families suffering in Appalachia. Thank you!
