What does Charity Navigator’s rating mean?
Charity Navigator provides ratings of over 225,000 charities, providing metrics on the cost-effectiveness and overall health of a charity’s programs, including measures of stability, efficiency, and sustainability. The metrics inform donors of not just where their dollars are going but what their dollars are doing. Eligible charities receive a zero to four-star rating, with four-stars being the highest rating.

ASP’s ratings:

  • Accountability & Finance – 100% | assessment of a charity’s financial health (financial efficiency, sustainability, and trustworthiness) and its commitment to governance practices and policies
  • Culture & Community – 100% | assessment of the organization’s culture and connectedness to the community it serves
  • Leadership & Adaptability – 100% | assessment of the organization’s leadership capacity, strategic thinking and planning, and ability to innovate or respond to changes in constituent demand/need or other relevant social and economic conditions to achieve the organization’s mission
