Traditional Summer Staff Application

  • Now hiring for Summer 2023
  • We are hiring passionate, dedicated, hard-working young adults to serve on our summer staff, running ASP’s volunteer hosting program in over 25 locations each year.
  • The hiring process for this position is as follows:
    • Step 1 – Complete the online application here.
    • Step 2 – Initial virtual interview with one of ASP’s Hiring Managers
    • Step 3 – Group interview during a Staff Applicant Workshop (SAW)

Year-Long Fellowship Application

  • Spend a year serving, growing, and discerning with ASP. Lead one of our year-round centers to host volunteers and complete home repair and replacement.
  • The hiring process for this position is as follows:
    • Step 1 – Complete the online application
    • Step 2 – Initial virtual interview with one of ASP’s Hiring Managers
    • Step 3 – Group interview during a Staff Applicant Workshop (SAW)

Support Staff Application

  • Chaplains are individuals who are currently in or have recently graduated from Seminary or Divinity School. ASP does not require, as a condition of employment, membership in or profession of a specific denominational theology.
  • Staff Liaisons are members of our summer support staff. Summer support staff members are hired to do just that: support our traditional summer staff out in the field. This is a temporary position beginning mid-May and concluding in early-August.

Summer Program Manager Application

  • Summer Program Managers supervise the summer program within an identified geographic area through managing 3-4 summer staffs.

Story Gathering Internship Application

  • Story Gathering Interns work with our Advancement Department to capture and share the ASP story.

Merchandise Internship Application

  • Assist the ASP Merchandise Task Force in the tracking and distribution of merchandise across a five-state service area during the summer.

Staffer in Training Program Application

  • ASP’s Staffer in Training (SIT) program allows those interested in applying for summer staff to see firsthand what a week in the life of the staff looks like.
  • Going through the SIT program is a great way to get a real picture of the responsibilities of a summer staffer.
