Buchanan VA Disaster Recovery & Rebuild

A storm in Buchanan County, VA, on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, resulted in significant flooding and damaged more than 100 homes. Every person who was missing in the flood has been found and no fatalities occurred.

ASP has a long history of service in Buchanan County and many members of the ASP family have asked what we can do to help. Right now, ASP will help spread awareness of this disaster and raise funds for the recovery efforts. Your gifts to support Buchanan VA Disaster Recovery will be matched – dollar for dollar – up to $25,000 by a generous friend of ASP.

After the area is declared safe for disaster relief organizations to move in for cleanup, ASP will assess the viability of our involvement in the long-term recovery and rebuild effort. We will keep the ASP family informed as these decisions are made.
