Center Information
Sleeping Quarters: Air conditioned facility. The back half of the gym and recreation space is partitioned off for sleeping quarters. You will need to bring air mattresses or cots, pillows and sleeping bags.
Cafeteria/Kitchens: The kitchen and dining area is in the same activity center building as the sleeping quarters. The front half of the gym is partitioned off for dining.
Showers: Divided showers are available in each bathroom.
Recreation Space: Outdoors, there is small grassy area, gazebo, and fire pit available to volunteers. Recreation space in the gym will also be available post-dinner, after clearing the space.
Closest Medical Facility: Summersville Regional Medical Center. 400 Fairview Heights Rd. Summersville, WV (about 15 minutes away)

Interesting Facts: Nicholas County is home to the historic Carnifex Ferry Battlefield State Park. The town of Richwood, settled in the eastern mountains of the county, is known for its annual ramp festival. If you’ve never heard of ramps before, you should look up some information on this wild vegetable. Richwood and other small towns throughout the county faced serious flood damage in the June 2016 flood.
