Meet the Summer Staff
Left to Right: Noelle Simpson (Center Director), Macey Robertson (Finance Coordinator), Emma Seanor (Operations Coordinator), Ava Rodgers (Volunteer Coordinator)
Sleeping Quarters: Volunteers sleeping in the First United Methodist Church will be in classrooms on the second floor. We will also utilize Community United Methodist Church at (141 Burke Avenue, Prestonsburg) for volunteer sleeping quarters, which will be in classrooms in the basement. In both locations, volunteers will need to bring their own air mattress/cot and sleeping bag. Center staff will inform you of your assigned facility prior to arrival.
Cafeteria/Kitchens: We will be utilizing the kitchen and gym space within First United Methodist Church as eating space. Tables will be put up and taken down for meal times each day.
Showers: There are bathrooms within both churches. A shower trailer will be parked at First United Methodist Church.
Recreation Space: The gym space outside of meal times can be used as recreation space. There is also a lot to see and do in downtown Prestonsburg.
